เป็นโครงการรีโนเวทสถาปัตยกรรมบ้านไม้สองชั้น ในจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี นอกเหนือจากความท้าทายในการปรับปรุงบ้านริมน้ำที่ยกพื้นสูง และพื้นที่ใต้ถุนเปิดโล่ง เจ้าของต้องการเปลี่ยนบ้านไม้หลังเดิมให้เป็นบ้านที่ใหม่ ทันสมัย แต่ยังคงรักษาส่วนที่ยังอยู่ในสภาพที่ดีของโครงสร้างเดิมไว้ การออกแบบของเราจึงสนับสนุน แนวคิดการใช้ของวัสดุที่ยั่งยืน โดยคำนึงถึงการใช้ในปัจจุบัน และอนาคต เราในฐานะนักออกแบบ ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของโครงสร้างเดิมและมุ่งที่จะเปลี่ยนจุดอ่อนของบ้านให้เป็นจุดแข็งและโอกาสในอนาคต การออกแบบของเราจึงมุ่งเน้น การใช้โซลูชั่นที่ประหยัดต้นทุน การเลือกใช้วัสดุที่บำรุงรักษาน้อยและทนทาน และสร้างการเชื่อมต่อใหม่ ๆ ที่น่ารื่นรมย์ระหว่างพื้นที่ ในขณะเดียวกัน การออกแบบใหม่ก็ยังคงรักษาเสน่ห์และเอกลักษณ์ของบ้านเดิมไว้ ผสมผสานความเป็นดั้งเดิมเข้ากับการใช้ชีวิตแบบสมัยใหม่อย่างลงตัว PHUNPHIN VACATION HOUSE This project is an architectural renovation of a two-storey wooden house in Phrae Province. Besides renovating an elevated riverside residence with an open ground floor, The owner wishes to transform the original wooden house into a new, more contemporary home while preserving the existing structure that remains in good condition. Therefore, our design proposal supports practices using materials both now and in the future, in a sustainable way. As designers, we recognize the value of the original structure and aim to turn the weaknesses of the house into future strengths and opportunities. Our design focuses on using cost-effective solutions, selecting low-maintenance and durable materials, and creating a new, welcoming connection between the spaces. At the same time, the new design preserves the charm and character of the original home, blending tradition with modern living seamlessly.
